Skype update boosts multi-tasking features
A new Skype update has hit the Google Play Store, making for what could be the very best improvement we have seen in a while. This is becuase the new update brings forth some very cool multi-tasking features.
During a video call, users can now choose picture-in-picture mode and continue doing other things on their devices while they are on a video chat. In addition, I like that I am able to screen-share what I am doing.
The Android app now also supports receiving photos from Skype for iOS and “other new clients”. Skype also claims chats load faster, more formatting support has been added and native support for Hindi has been included.
Opinion: Not bad, right? Mobile video chats are finally being taken to the next stage, and Skype is leading the way.
